Questions That You May Have
(1)
I sent in my money, but I haven’t received a confirmation yet.
Answer: Your receipt should be in the mail with 7 days of my
receiving your
payment.
(2)
Can I reach you by telephone?
Answer: Yes, I can be reached during the day, Tuesday through
Friday at
828-464-7673 or at 828-461-7544.
(3)
How will I know if a class has been cancelled?
Answer: The State Board requires that there must be at least 4
persons
registered for a class, or the class will
be cancelled. I will inform you if such a
cancellation is required.
(4)
What entitles me to a refund?
Answer: If you call to cancel your enrollment seven days prior
to the class;
or if the class has been cancelled and we
are unable to reschedule you for a
different date.
(5)
Am I required to pre-register or can I register at the door?
Answer: I prefer that all students pre-register; this will
guarantee you a place
in the class and also enables me to have
adequate materials for each student.
However, pre-registration may not be
possible for someone, so at-the-door
registration is permitted, but only if
there is still room in the class. For that
reason, I strongly encourage
pre-registration for everyone.

How long are these classes?
Answer: Each class is set up on a one-day schedule. The session
on Hair

Answer: If you are a manicurist or an esthetician, the answer is
No. If you are

What if my education hours are incomplete when it is time for my
renewal?
Answer: If you do not have the adequate number of instructional
hours, you
will not be able to renew. The only
exception is for those persons aged 60 and
over who have worked in the business for
more than ten years. If you do not
renew, the fine is $250, in addition to
taking continuing education hours. If you
have other questions on this topic, please
